Bratwurst Stuffed Burgers: A Delicious Twist for Burger Night

Burger night just got a whole lot more exciting with our Bratwurst-Stuffed Burgers!
This fun and flavorful recipe is a great way to combine two crowd favorites—juicy bratwurst and savory ground beef—into one irresistible meal. Perfect for grilling or skillet cooking, this recipe will have your family asking for seconds.
Ingredients:
- 4 Edwards Family Farms Bratwurst links
- 1 pound Edwards Family Farms ground beef
- Brioche buns
- Burger seasoning of choice (Our fave is our Rancher's Reserve Steakhouse seasoning)
- Your favorite burger toppings
Directions:
- Prepare the Bratwurst
- Remove the Bratwurst links from their packaging.
- Using a knife, gently slice each link down the middle, leaving about 1/4 inch on each end intact. Be careful not to cut all the way through.
- Stuff the Bratwurst
- Gently spread the bratwurst open to create space for stuffing.
- Optional: Season your ground beef with your favorite burger seasoning.
- Divide the ground beef into four portions, adjusting the size to fit inside the bratwurst.
- Roll each portion of ground beef into a ball, then form it into an oval-shaped patty.
- Stuff the ground beef patty into each bratwurst link, pressing gently to ensure it fits. If necessary, flatten the stuffed bratwurst to about 3/4 to 1 inch thick for even cooking.
- Cook to Perfection
- Heat a cast iron skillet or grill to medium heat.
- Cook the stuffed bratwurst patties until they reach an internal temperature of 155-160°F.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
- Assemble and Serve
- Place the bratwurst-stuffed patties onto buns.
- Top with your favorite burger toppings like cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, or even a dollop of mustard.
- Serve and enjoy!
