Let's talk about a biggie: the meat on your plate.

It's not just about taste; it's about the impact your choice makes on your health, the environment, and those critters themselves.

Here’s why opting for pastured meats is a game-changer:

1. Your Health:

Imagine sitting in a room stuffed with people who are not allowed to use the restroom. There is a fan directly overhead constantly blowing fecal particles through the air that you are breathing...

This is what happens when you purchase meat that has been raised commercially (Think Tyson, Cargill, JBS). This is why grocery store meats are so cheap when compared to small farmers like us who allow our animals sunshine, fresh air and ample space.

Cows and chickens aren't moved to fresh grass daily. Pigs don't have access to anything other than a manure covered, concrete floor. Even if you didn't pay attention in high school biology, you're smart enough to know this impacts their health. And when you consume this, ultimately this effects you, too. Gross, right?

But don't worry - there is another way...

Our pastured meats come from our animals that roam and graze as they would in nature (sometimes with a little extra protection). This lifestyle means they're leaner, richer in nutrients like Omega-3s, and lower in bad fats compared to factory-farmed meats pumped with who-knows-what.

2. Helping the Planet:

Conventional meat production often means forests bulldozed for feed crops, pesticides polluting waterways, and a big carbon footprint.

Pastured meats support farms that work with nature, not against it, promoting healthier soil and less environmental harm.

3. Happy Animals:

Picture this: cows and chickens living their best lives, soaking up sunshine and nibbling on grass. Yes, that is exactly how they are raised and we have the proof - unlike the industrial side does.

Our pastured animals have space to roam and do what comes naturally, leading to happier, healthier livestock.

4. Better Taste, Better Quality:

Ever notice how an egg straight from the farm just hits different? Or the way a juicy chicken breast cooks up on the grill? That's the magic of pastured meats & animals.

They’re known for their delicious flavor and tenderness, thanks to a diet that lets them be themselves.

Why It Matters:

Choosing pastured meats isn’t just about what's for dinner. It’s a vote for farms that prioritize sustainability, animal welfare, and good old-fashioned quality.

It's about making every meal count for something bigger and ensuring sure you feel confident when feeding your babies (husband included).

In a Nutshell:

By choosing pastured meats, you're not just feeding yourself—you're feeding a movement towards healthier food, happier animals, and a greener planet.

When you support our farm, you get to know the hand that raised your food so you can trust exactly where it came from. That's HUGE.
