Join us for a fun and educational day on the farm! Get to know where your food comes from, meet the animals, and learn about the benefits of pasture-raised meats. 

This free event is open to everyone in our community, but registration is required.

This is a drop-in event, however we do have specific activities scheduled below.

  • Fun for the Whole Family: Our event is designed to be kid-friendly with plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained. Enjoy games, a scavenger hunt, pumpkin decorating, and more. We do require 1 adult per 2 children.

Educational and Interactive:

  • Cow Milking Live Demo: Watch a live demonstration of cow milking and learn about dairy production. This demo will begin at 12:30pm.
  • Farm Trivia: Test your knowledge with farm trivia and win fun prizes.
  • Raffle Baskets: Support our efforts by purchasing raffle tickets for our baskets valued at over $200 each! Click here to buy your tickets.
  • Petting Zoo & Animal Feedings: Check out some of our animals up close and personal. Participate in feeding the animals and learn about their diets and care routines.
  • How-To Demonstration: We will show you how to break down a whole chicken the easy way (since we do 500+ a year!). This demo will begin at 1:30pm.
  • Delicious Food: Sample mouthwatering hors d'oeuvres featuring our pasture-raised meats. Discover new recipes and cooking tips from our cooking demonstrations.
  • Support Local: Meet and support your local regenerative farm, Edwards Family Farms.
  • Exclusive Offers: Take advantage of our pasture-raised meats available for purchase during the event. Don’t forget to bring a cooler or insulated bag for your purchases.

Planning Your Visit:

Parking: Limited parking is available on-site. Please carpool if possible.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing and footwear, a hat, sunglasses, and a cooler if you plan to purchase meat.

Weather: The event will take place light rain or shine. We have covered areas and tents for inclement weather. If weather is not in our favor, we will let you know ahead of time.

    No, this is a free event and open to our awesome community
  2. Do I need to register in advance?
    While the event is free, we ask that you register in advance to help us plan for the number of attendees. You can register by clicking here. Registration closes on Friday, Sept. 27th.
  3. Can I bring my pet?
    For the safety of our animals and guests, please leave pets at home.
  4. Will there be food available?
    Yes, we will have light hors d'oeuvres featuring our pasture-raised meats.
  5. Can I bring my kids?
    Yes, please! But we do limit 2 children per 1 adult.
  6. What are the guided tour times?
    A guided tour will be held at 1 PM.
  7. Will meat be available for purchase?
    We will have light hors d'oeuvres featuring our pasture-raised meats available for free. You can also purchase our pasture-raised meats during the event. Remember to bring a cooler or insulated bag for your purchases.
  8. Can I bring my own food?
    We encourage you to try our delicious pasture-raised meats, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks if you prefer. Please do not feed any animals.
  9. Will there be restroom facilities?
    Yes, there are public restrooms onsite.
  10. Is the farm wheelchair accessible?
    We strive to make our farm as accessible as possible. Some areas of the farm may have uneven terrain. There are hills, valleys, gravel, grass and mud. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us ahead of time so we can assist you.
  11. Is the farm stroller accessible?
    Depending on your stroller, yes! Some areas of the farm may have uneven terrain. There are hills, valleys, gravel, grass, mud.
  12. What happens in case of bad weather?
    The event will take place light rain or shine. We have covered areas and tents for inclement weather. In case of severe weather, we will notify you in advance of any changes or cancellations.
