At Edwards Family Farms, we are passionate about knowing where your food comes from. After many requests, we are holding a workshop for those who are interested in learning how to process and butcher rabbits.

We believe this is an invaluable skill everyone should know how to do.

We encourage you to bring your own snacks/drinks.

  • How to part out a whole rabbit
  • How to raise meat rabbits
  • How to package whole rabbits
  • Tips on how to prepare rabbit at home

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • You must be 18 years or older to participate in the workshop.
  • Absolutely NO pets or animals.
  • Closed toed shoes are required. We recommend rubber boots because you will get wet.
  • We encourage you to bring your own apron.
  • You will be required to sign a waiver before participating.
  • We have livestock guardian dogs on the property who will be present during the workshop.
  • Payment is refundable until 48 hours prior to workshop.
  • Once available spots are filled, we will begin a waitlist.
  • Workshop is held outdoors, rain or shine.
  • Be prepared to stand for longer periods of time and walking on uneven ground. 

Heads up! The hands-on part involves live animals, dead ones, and some messy stuff like blood and guts.
